Hello and welcome to Music and Teacups! This is a place where I house my “oh sweet nothings” of being a 20 something year old in this society; a place where I am not afraid to be myself or express my own trials and tribulations of life. Music and Teacups has become so much more than I ever thought it could be and almost 3 years later, I am just as truly thankful for the positive responses I’ve received over the years as I was when I wrote my very first post.

In case you didn’t know, my name is Alicia!

I'm 23 years old and if you're a Blink 182 fan, you know that means that right now, nobody likes me.

I make lame comments and song puns like that quite often.

I am currently employed as a Data Specialist at a behavioral health agency, sweet stuff.

I am currently double majoring in Social Work and Journalism at Northern Arizona University.

I am an avid concert “go-er” and a self proclaimed music enthusiast.

I am a strong believer in music therapy.

I am from an itty bitty city smack down in the desert of Arizona.

I have an unhealthy obsession with Tegan and Sara, Vampire Weekend and Streetlight Manifesto.

I am still waiting for my Hogwarts acceptance letter and often dream of Wonderland.

I dislike flowers but adore daisies, weird right?

Last but not least, I am a vegetarian.

That's basically all there is to me. You'll come to find that I'll write about anything else worth noting. Life is a tea party and this is my teacup so come sit next to me and pour yourself some tea.
